Pricing and Key Details
One of the advantages of the wide range of trim levels for the Sorento is the equally wide range of pricing. You can easily find a trim level of the 2026 Sorento that matches your budget, from a cost-effective entry level trim to a premium top-tier trim level that rivals many luxury brands. The S trim is the next one up from the base LX trim level and has a starting MSRP1 of $35,290. This is a great option if you are looking for some additional feature options not available on the S trim, but still want to keep your monthly costs as low as possible. For example, you have two additional exterior color choices not available on the LX trim – Wolf Gray and Midnight Lake Blue. You also have the availability to switch out the standard FWD for AWD, which you can’t do on the LX trim.
Standard Technology Features
Standard technology features in the 2026 Sorento S are sure to impress. If you’re tired of manually plugging in your phone while on the go and dealing with messy cords, the S trim level features a standard wireless smartphone charger to go along with the wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration2. Your second row passengers will have to bring cords but they’ll have convenient access to their own USB ports in this trim. For combination of technology and safety when you are navigating parking at Sabine Woods, the S trim features Park Distance Warning Rear Parking Sensors3 and Front Parking Sensors3. These are in addition to Lane Departure Warning4, Lane Keeping Assist5, and Lane Following Assist6.
Cabin Upgrades
Like the LX trim, the S trim comes with seven passenger maximum capacity for its three row configuration. You’ll have a second row bench that seats three and a third row bench that seats two. If you are looking for second row captain’s chairs, ask our team about the EX or higher trim levels. You’ll be treated to an upgrade from the standard automatic climate control with dual-zone auto climate control in the S trim level, allowing you and your front passengers to set your own temperatures as you log miles around Texas. A significant upgrade in this trim level is the 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with two-way adjustable lumbar support, plus the addition of heated front seats. For gazing up at the stars and giving the cabin a more open feeling, this trim gives you the option to add the panoramic sunroof with power sunshade. Last, but not least, cloth upholstery on the LX trim is replaced here with the SynTex seat trim that has the appearance of leather upholstery but is easier to clean and maintain.
